Refund policy

1. Introduction

At Playing Direct, we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for our Grip Socks, in compliance with UK Trading Standards.

2. Cancellation Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email).

3. Return of Goods
  • After cancelling your order, the goods should be returned to us within 14 days.
  • The socks must be unused, in their original condition, and with all packaging intact.
  • The cost of returning the goods will be borne by the customer unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
4. Refunds
  • A full refund of the product cost will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of having sent them back.
  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise.
  • If the socks are returned due to a defect or being not as described, we will also refund the cost of standard delivery.
5. Faulty or Misdescribed Items

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act, if the socks are faulty, not as described, or don’t last a reasonable length of time, customers are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair. This right is limited to 30 days from the date of purchase.

6. Exceptions
  • For hygiene reasons, if the socks are worn or removed from their packaging, they may not be eligible for a refund unless defective.
  • Customized or personalized items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right.
